MU 544 Advanced Improvisation, Songwriting, and Practicum

Develops listening skills, clinical use of musical elements, and ability to improvise with mutuality. Prepares students for clinical improvisation at an advanced level. Encourages students to write music for a personal and  clinical applications. Practicum component includes 50 clock hours; students utilize improvisation and songwriting with clients they currently serve. Individual and/or group supervision provided by MAMT faculty via online or phone conferencing.
