AC 301 Trauma-Informed Addictions Counseling Skills

This course takes a competency based approach in teaching students applicable addictions counseling skills. Students will learn addictions counseling skills from assessment, through the life of the case, to discharge. The student will understand addictions counseling in individual, family, couples, and group formats. Diversity issues in addictions counseling is also addressed.
