ED 125 Introduction to Education
This course is an introduction to education and to the profession of teaching. Topics to be explored include the U.S. school system, historical, philosophical, and sociological foundations of education, lesson planning, and principles of how students learn in a diverse society. In addition, professionalism, teacher organization, and teaching strategies including curriculum and assessment will be discussed.
