KHS 350 Special Population Inclusion in Recreation, Sport, and Fitness

This course will examine the knowledge, bring awareness, and create inclusion for special populations not limited to individuals considered disabled but includes individuals who are diagnosed with a chronic illness or medically limiting diseases as well.  These limitations can impact their physical activity engagement in sport, recreation, and fitness. Future healthcare/allied care providers will gain knowledge and experience to address the changes and implement the modifications needed to bring about inclusivity for these individuals.
