CN 570 Human Growth and Social Cultural Foundations of Counseling

This course will provide an overview of development across the lifespan, taking into effect theories of learning and personality development and biopsychosocial factors affecting development. It will also address multicultural issues in counseling, including social justice, advocacy, and examination of the worldviews of others. The impact of creative expressive therapies on human growth and development and multicultural understanding will also be discussed.
