EQ 214 Theory of Basic Training

The basic concepts of training the inexperienced or experienced horse will be explored. Emphasis will be placed on the horse’s psychological makeup and how it influences his capacity to learn. Connections will be made between historic and current training techniques. Students will be required to apply training techniques to influence horse behavior.
