EQ 216 Introduction to Therapeutic Riding

Students will be introduced to therapeutic riding principles and techniques. They will learn the history and populations served by therapeutic riding programs. Students will work hands-on with the equine partners and gain an understanding of various tack and equipment. In addition, they will demonstrate knowledge of their teaching skills, lesson planning, and volunteer management.
