DM 401/501 Data Mining
This course is a continuation extension of the 300-level course with additional questions focused on understanding and applying the technique of focus. This is an opportunity for advanced students to drive their research into the application of predictive algorithms. This course assumes that students have a background in Python, R, or both coding languages. Students will be required to write a paper and present a poster with faculty guidance upon completion of the course. Graduate students will be required to seek co-publication with their faculty sponsor in addition to any other requirements the instructor deems appropriate.
