EQ 506 Advanced Mare and Foal Management
Mare and Foal Management is an advanced course focused on the comprehensive care and management of mares and their foals, from pregnancy through to weaning. This course provides students with in-depth knowledge of reproductive health, foaling management, neonatal care, and the development of foals. Students will gain expertise in managing the mare during pregnancy, including nutritional needs, exercise, and monitoring for complications, as well as preparing for a safe and successful foaling process.
