NU 330 Psychosocial Nursing

Focuses on psychiatric nursing care for individuals, families, and populations with psychosocial and substance-related needs through classroom and clinical experiences. Students provide holistic, evidence-based person-centered care emphasizing therapeutic communication, health promotion, quality and safety, population advocacy, interprofessional collaboration, and professional practice within legal and regulatory frameworks. Forty-five (45) didactic course hours and forty-five (45) practice hours.
