NU 341 Family Nursing
This course focuses on nursing care of childbearing and childrearing families across community and clinical settings. Students apply nursing theory, evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and therapeutic communication to conduct comprehensive assessments, provide health education, manage pediatric and perinatal conditions, collaborate interprofessionallly and deliver safe, ethical, family-centered care. Sixty (60) didactic course hours and ninety (90) practice hours.
