NU 482 Community Nursing
Emphasis is on health promotion, disease prevention, and care of diverse communities across the continuum of care. Integrated clinical experiences support population assessment, interprofessional collaboration, and application of epidemiological data. Students examine social justice, policy, disaster preparedness, and systems influences while using evidence-based strategies and health information technologies to promote quality, safety, equity, and improved population health outcomes. Online lecture content with faculty and student interactions and thirty-six (36) community project hours.
