NU 485 Population Focused Nursing
Emphasis is on health promotion, disease prevention, and care of diverse communities across the continuum of care. Integrated clinical experiences support population assessment, interprofessional collaboration, and use of epidemiological data. Students examine social justice, policy, disaster preparedness, and systems influences while applying evidence-based strategies and health information technologies to promote quality, safety, equity, and population health outcomes. Forty-five (45) didactic course hours and ninety (90) practice hours.
