NU 220 Nursing Fundamentals

Introduces foundational concepts and skills essential to professional nursing practice through classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Emphasis includes nursing roles, theory-based practice, health promotion, quality and safety, basic nursing care across the lifespan, professionalism, ethical and legal responsibilities, scope of practice, and culturally responsive care. Forty-five (45) didactic course hours and ninety (90) practice hours.
