NU 528 Clinical Reasoning and Diagnostics
This course focuses on clinical reasoning and the selection and interpretation of diagnostic tests commonly used in primary care. Emphasis is placed on the use of diagnostic reasoning to support differential diagnosis, patient safety, cost-effective care, and evidence-informed clinical decision making. Students examine appropriate screening and diagnostic procedures, potential risks and complications, patient education, follow-up, and referral considerations across diverse populations.
