NU 540 Clinical Management I
This course focuses on the application of clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making for the diagnosis and management of common acute health conditions across the lifespan in primary care. Students develop skills in health promotion, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, follow-up care, and referral. This course includes didactic instruction and a 150-hour precepted clinical practicum in an outpatient primary care setting designed to support the development of advanced practice clinical competencies.
