NU 547 Healthcare Informatics
This course examines the application of information science and technology to support patient care and healthcare decision-making in advanced nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on the use of health information systems, data analytics, and digital health technologies to evaluate programs of care, monitor outcomes, and support quality improvement initiatives. Ethical, regulatory, and legal considerations related to healthcare informatics are also explored.
